Fall fun: church party

While holding its annual Fall Festival
and Chili Cookoff,
a local LDS (Mormon) church was
surprised to receive a visit from several
notable persons affiliated with
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
including

Hermione Granger

and The Boy Who Lived
(aka Harry Potter)

Shouts of "Expelliarmus!"
were heard throughout the night.

They were accompanied by gamekeeper
and good friend, Rubeus Hagrid.

And Professor McGonagall was there
to keep an eye on everyone.

A surprise bonus guest:
Dobby the house elf

It was a magical evening.

(OK, I am such a Harry Potter nerd.
We loved these costumes, though!)

Great family costume, babe. You could totally be an uptight school teacher if you wanted to be based on the faces you are pulling in the photos. Have you ever considered an acting and/or teaching career?

Love it! Brandon makes a great Harry Potter. Actually you all have the right look for your character. Well, Caroline's a little too cute, but we'll forgive her.

I'd say the force must have been with you, but that's from the wrong movie.
Jolly good show.

That is hilarious because Carson is Harry Potter for Halloween also. And we were thinking of joining him in his Hogwarts adventure. Happy Halloween.
