Look who's walking

Caroline is a cautious little girl. She walks great if she's holding onto someone's finger or a toy, but has been very reluctant to take those first steps. Well, her daddy finally got her to do it earlier this week. Here's the proof:

I love those cute, shaky first steps. They remind me of Bambi. She still hasn't quite taken off, though. She'll take a step here and there, but very much prefers crawling or cruising.

Aren't they just so proud of themselves when they figure out how to walk? It never ceases to be thrilling to watch as a parent either (or a grandparent!). I love hearing Brandon's excited giggling in the background too!

I love Brandon's giggling too! Good job, Care Bear. What's in her mouth?

You gotta love how we didn't remove the blunt object from her mouth as she takes her first shaky steps. Parents of the year, baby!

You so win Mother of the Year for letting the newest toddler learn to walk with something in her mouth...

I think it is time to put a soccer ball at her feet!

It's some little toy in her mouth that probably would've been banned from the house with the first child, but instead is lying around on the floor of the room she shares with her big sis. :)

You'll all be happy to hear that no injuries resulted and we've tried to keep objects out of her mouth while she walks for now.

Andrea, cute clip, however, it looks like Caroline has taken up smoking and has a cigarette in her mouth. Funny thought when I know what a good mother you are and how unlikely that would be =)
