Elder Ballard nailed it

Does Elder Ballard know what he's talking about or what?
In the April General Conference, he said,

"Recognize that the joy of motherhood comes in moments.

There will be hard times

and frustrating times.

But amid the challenges, there are shining moments

of joy and satisfaction."

Amen, Elder Ballard.
Amen.

So cute and so true! Caroline is looking so big. I love all her faces but especially the adorable smiles. Hang in there, it does get easier.

That's why we call the brethren prophets, seers and revelators.
Carrie was right, the pictures do tell the story, and we know the story gets better and better as the days (and nights!!) go by.

Wow! I can actually hear Caroline screaming in those first 2 pics! Oh wait, maybe that's Brittain! And are you kidding me? 3 kids, 3 smiles, 1 picture? Awesome. Thank heavens for those shining moments!

How did you capture those last two pictures of a 3-week-old baby? AWesome! I know how you captured the first two, unfortunately, it's much easier to sustain a cry at her age than to sustain a smile. Plus, I think it looks like she's wearing a little pearl earring in the first smiling picture - she will look lovely in pearls as an adult. Such cute pictures - I have looked at them for about 10 minutes now and decided I'd better post a comment and go to bed!
Love you all - I'm sending a big kiss through the internet - it should be passing over Colorado about now - wait a second - now it's in Kansas, and swinging through Arkansas - there...it just got to North Carolina - pass it on to all 3 kids!
Love,

How in the world did you get ALL THREE kids smiling and facing the camera at the same time?? That's magic, pure and simple:)
