Do my kids know me?

I got to pick the Whitney's and Brandon's brains to find out what they really think about me. I saw this quiz on Megan's blog and wanted to see what my munchkins had to say.

1. What is something mom always says to you?
W: Good night.
B: Please clean up your room.

2. What makes mom happy?
W: When I kiss her and when I give her hugs.
B: Helping her.

3. What makes mom sad?
W: When I don't listen to her.
B: Arguing.

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
W: When she does funny things like snorts like a pig.
B: By tooting.

5. What was your mom like as a kid?
W: I forgot.
B: I have no idea.

6. How old is your mom?
W: 30
B: 31

7. How tall is your mom?
W: Super tall
B: Five nine. Not fifty-nine inches. Five foot nine.

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
W: Play on the computer
B: Go on dates with Daddy.

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?
W: She goes to the store and she stays home when I'm at school. She cooks dinner.
B: Doing stuff on her blog. Sort laundry. Play with Caroline and Whitney. Read books. Oh, and sleeping.

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
W: I have no idea.
B: Playing the piano.

11. What is your mom really good at?
W: Singing and playing the piano.
B: Playing the piano.

12. What is your mom not very good at?
W: "Bawking" like a chicken.
B: Keeping track of time.

13. What does your mom do for her job?
W: Do laundry.
B: Work around the house.

14. What is your mom's favorite food?
W: Oranges. Shrimp.
B: Cheesecake.

15. What makes you proud of your mom?
W: When she does the laundry fast.
B: Her being nice.

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
W: June from Little Einsteins
B: Candace from Phineas and Ferb

Me, June, Candace
I think Whitney might be on to something.
Whaddya think?

17. What do you and your mom do together?
W: We go to church together and we go the store together and we drive in the car together.
B: Play games.

18. How are you and your mom the same?
W: We both have long hair.
B: We're the same in hair. That's pretty much the only thing.

19. How are you and your mom different?
W: We have different voices.
B: Eye color.

20. How do you know your mom loves you?
W: Because I just know you do.
B: You do nice things for me and you do fun things with me.

They were surprisingly accurate on most of their answers. I didn't realize how much I do laundry. They must think I'm doing it all the time.

Gotta love anyone who has her kids convinced shrimp is one of her favorite foods.

I didn't know you tooted (if that's what I think it is)! And I love that your laundry skills make Whitney proud, they'd make me proud too if you were my mom:)

I love that tooting and snorting make you laugh. Some moms probably don't find that entertaining, but it just makes life so much better if you can laugh at kids' toots and snorts. They seem to make noises like that a lot.

That's really cute! Its so funny to see how the kids perceive their parents...your husband must feel so lucky to get to go on dates with a piano-playing woman who toots and snorts like a pig:)

I think it's great that your kids are proud of you because you do the laundry "so fast". I do laundry....and I fold it in the family room.....and I put it in the baskets.....but "fast" is not an adverb I would use when it finally gets in all the right drawers. Rock on, Andrea! Barbie says the thing she doesn't like about laundry is that it is never done. Hugs to you and your beautiful family. Aunt Julie

My favorite comment was the tooting. Nice.

This is a cute idea. Your kids articulate well b/c I think a lot of kids would just say "I don't know." Love the Little Einsteins comment.
