Profile 2011: Andrew

Andrew

Favorite Sport:  Football

Is really good at:  Fantasy sports

Wishes he was better at:  Playing classical music on my acoustic guitar

Best part about his job:  Seeing business results improve and knowing that I had part in structuring the organization, developing talent, and hiring the right people.

Favorite pastimes:  Reading, playing flag football, playing basketball, and playing tennis with Andrea

Favorite recent reads:  Surround Yourself With Greatness by Chad Lewis, Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, and every book about extreme survival situations that the library carries.

Favorite restaurant:  P. F. Chang's

Notable changes/events in 2010:  Transitioning from overseeing HR for our US manufacturing operations to our US sales organization; visiting Times Square and going to the top of the Empire State Building; touring Independence Hall in Philadelphia; putting down a dunk at the Stake Center after one of my church games; and getting a lot more gray hair.

Hopes for 2011:  No emergency room trips, organizing consistent flag football games with my buddies, for the right thing to happen around staying in Greensboro or moving to Dallas (I don't know what the "right thing" is though), lots of fun dates with Andrea, seeing the kids be happy as they do their best, BYU basketball makes a deep tournament run, the Lakers win another champship, and the Carolina Panthers win more than two games.

That's such a handsome picture of you up top! Look at those baby blues.

I got Forrest the book "The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon" and he quite liked it. Adventure situations, history, and South America--all of which seem right up your alley. If you haven't read it yet, it was a bestseller I'm sure it's at the library.

I also got Dad Andre Agassi's biography for Christmas but don't know if he's read it yet; it's also supposed to be really good, though. For some reason, I associate you with Andre Agassi (did you follow him when you were younger? why do I think this?)

Alright, if you do one on everyone else you have to do one on yourself now Andrea!

Love how no ER trips is in there. Always a good one to hope for.

You profiled Andrew too! Love that first picture of him and also love his very specific, serious answers relating to his job. He is a grown-up! Whatfun to read.
Thanks Andrea!
Love,
Grandma Sweat

I'm totally going to read your recommendation, Ang. I love "I Shouldn't Be Alive" and those types of shows but have yet to read a book about them. What a novel idea!

Your favorite sport is really football? Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just surprised.
