Family photo shoot
Things were way too busy for me around Christmas time and I neglected to get real family photos taken. But I was determined to not let a whole year go by. So why not do it on Valentine's Day? I was worried about Caroline cooperating, but it turns out it was Whitney who was the difficult one. The photographer kept saying, "You have your hands full with her, don't ya?" Oh, and guess what his comment was when he saw Caroline. "Look at that Gerber baby!"

I LOVE the pics! It's funny I'm in the same boat. We never were able to do Christmas pics even though I wanted to (Jonah got RSV) and I still really want to do them, but the kids keep getting colds over & over again. So hopefully we'll get there soon! Oh, and I already picked out that we're wearing black long sleeve shirts! How funny is that?! You guys look AWESOME!

Guess how many family portraits we've had done since we added Baby #3 (who is now 8)? ONE.
I have, however, done formal portraits of each child at 2nd grade, 8th grade and (duh) 12th grade. Other than that, once they hit school-age I just go with the school pictures.
