Fun in Louisville

We are so grateful for the friends and family members who let us crash their homes for a month while we venture across the country.  Our first victims:  Uncle Alex, Aunt Stephanie, Jessica and Jonathan in Louisville.

Played ping pong and a fun card game, Zurts

Visited Squire Boone Caverns,
named after Daniel's younger brother.

Skipped around while waiting for our tour.

Loved visiting the cave, learning all about
stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, and draperies.

The photos don't do the formations justice.
They are beautiful.

This underground waterfall was awesome.

Ahhhh...That was a perfect little break.  Next up?  The longest leg of the trip:  Louisville to Wichita.  700 miles.  Last year I said I wouldn't drive that far in a single day again, but here we go anyway.  Wish us luck!

I'm so glad you are able to visit with Uncle Alex and Aunt Stephenie and they are so good to you! There is something about Uncle Alex - for sure his hands, and maybe the way he talks, I don't know, something in him that reminds me of Andrew. It's pretty cool.
Good luck on your 700-miler - they ought to make medals for 700-miles in one day - that's pushing the legal limit!

Good luck with your next leg. I love the pics from the underground caverns. I think I would get clasterfobic though!

I love the adventures and experiences you guys are having. How fun. If the whole SAHM or Dental Hygienist things don't work out for you, you could always explore a career long haul trucking. Ten-Four, good buddy. Over and out.
